for some blog candy????

It’s been a while since I’ve offered up some blog candy and I thought that offering goodies on the first Friday of the year would be a fabulous way to begin the New Year  .    .    .   Happy New Year crafters!

Hello Jerri…We are just home from Palm Springs (worst weather we’ve ever seen there, but had a good time anyway) and I had to total all my spending for the customs guys. I think I spent over $350 on crafts alone. My New Years resolution is to stop the spending and start using the stuff!!! I would consider myself really lucky to win that wonderful assortment of blog candy you have pictured, but really, I feel lucky just to have access to your wonderful tutorials. Happy New Year to you and all your family.

My first and biggest resolution is to get my kitchen remodel done! I am still waiting on 2 cabinets to come in.

  37. Judy Jackson says:

This is a wonderful collection of blog candy! Thanks for your kindness to whoever wins!

With “4 1/2” grandchildren — (3 girls and and 2 boys — when the second boy is born in March!) I am never at a loss for pictures, stories, etc to put in scrapbooks but I have been so busy doing other things that scrapbooks of the grandchildren have not been made. So that is a goal for this year.

I also want to make a scrapbook about me — my thoughts, my joys, what makes me “tick” so to speak, and things like that.

So I guess my main resolution for 2011 is to accomplish more scrapbooking goals and to accomplish scrapping projects i have started!

  38. Maxine says:

What a great assortment for some one to win. Like me?

It feels so good to have accomplished one resolution, all that is left a bed & dresser so hubby will be doing that tonight. Yippee!!

  46. Dottie Davis says:

  49. Judy Covey says:

Thanks Jerri for offering up some delicious candy! My main New Year’s resolution is to try to eat healthier, which always seems to be a problem for both my husband and myself, we tend to lean towards the more fattening meals and snacks vs. the healthier meals and snacks.

  59. Jan G. says:

Thank you for doing this candy blog for us gals!

One of my resolutions is to come out of the “stone age” and get more connect with using modern technology. My husband and I got IPODS a few days ago and I am actually enjoying mine. I even took it to the grocery store and used the voice memo. It is not as “intimidating” as I thought it would be and I feel good about trying something new!

Blessings to you and all the best in this new year!!

I still have the same set up as in our former house, but the layout of the room in this house is a bit different, and it’s just not working for me. More importantly, I have improved my muscle tone (which had turned to absolute mush) and that is something that I would like to keep on improving and maintaining (especially important now that I will be 52 in February). I’ve just been making cards! Many many cards! But I want to get back to my first love! I’m starting with a mini book about my friends camp in ME where I spent lots of happy times while I lived in NH. I’m not quite sure of the layout yet, but am working on it.
Hugs and thanks for the chance to win.

One of mine this year is to record all the stamps and punches I have into a small book that I can keep in my purse at all times. Hopefully that way I will not duplicate what I already have.

  106. Hi Jerri
Thanks for the chance at your most generous blog candi. I am so in awe of your BEAUTIFUL
Art. You are one very talented Lady!

    Thanks for being you,

  107. jean wilson says:

Hi Jerri! Well this is day two for me…again your generous blog candy is so awesome! I guess after organizing my craft room would be to use all of my stamps. This was something I thought about last year and never did. Then whatever I didn’t care for I could give away or sell, if possible. Thanks again for a chance to win.

  108. Melanie PL says:

Yikes! I’d be in Heaven if I won all this!
My resolution– corny as it sounds– is to lose weight. I’ve gained a bit over the winter and fall and my daugher’s wedding is in May. So plan to definitely lose! My husband is also, so we’re a team.

  109. Lucille says:

Thank you for the wonderful candy that you are offering!

I have so many New Years resolutions that need to be completed. The week will help me identify

them on paper. If I tell you then I am committed to complete them, right? The first one for today is

to loose weight (surgeon’s words) so that I can be put on the knee replacement list. I am barely

walking now and can be very painful. This is going to be a BIG challenge as it is difficult to exercise.

But I shall persevere and get it done by going to the pool and maybe getting my jaw wired shut.

Duck tape doesn’t work for me.

Keep smiling! Today is a new beginning!!

  110. Debbie W Mann says:

    Getting organized!! 🙂

One of my resolutions is to SIMPLIFY. I have a lot of “stuff”, and get overwhelmed with where to put things. So I need to simplify things, and let some things go to another home. It’s hard, but I know it will be rewarding in the end!

  113. Paulette says:

    Thanks Jerri,
#1 is to resolve issues of the spine with my neurosurgeon, this is the priority for 2011 because there is so much red tape to just get to the simple truth, but he fixed my lumbar so I have faith. LOL Love your blog and your talent for manipulating paper is amazing.

  114. Chelsea says:

If only the blog candy came with a big dose of your creativity and talent! But thank you for the opportunity to win.
First res: Love the Lord with ALL my heart.

  115. Jerri thanks for letting me tell you my resove, I really have a wish! I just found out a dear high school friend from 55 years ago has cancer very bad and wish I could make her well.
    Love you Sharon, Charlene

  116. CYNTHIA says:

  117. Lorelei says:

Wow, you have soooo many responses! I resolve to get healthier in 2011. My son is going to boot camp for 8 weeks on the 19th of this month and I promised him that when we go to his graduation I will be thinner and healthier. I will have him in my heart as I make choices during those 8 weeks!

  118. Freetany says:

Recently came across your blog – you are amazing! Cards outstanding, and a job – just the language had taken delight!
Thank you for the wonderful candy!

  119. CYNTHIA says:

  120. Margaret Thompson says:

I have but just one resolution for this year and that is just to continue praying for God to help me in finding a doctor that IS willing to help me with this horrendous pain in my back, both hips, both legs and both feet so I can once again craft like I use to and then I can make all those cards, journals and hand crafted donations for the breast cancer survivors in October and the needy children at Christmas time just like I have done for years. I really missed not being able to do any of it this past year, especially for the children but pain can take your life away in more ways than anyone can imagine and mine is so bad that I couldn’t and didn’t decorate for the holidays.

God Bless Jerri for all her wonderful beautiful creations that now line my note book with ideas and I am ready to start as soon as I feel well again.

Thank you Jerri for allowing me to enter your contest for such wonderful blog candy. Yummmm…..

    • Jan G. says:

      Dear Margaret,
I was touched by what you wrote in your blog regarding your health challenges and what you are going thru right now. I believe in a God of miracles and will be praying for a healing miracle for you!! Blessings to you!!

    • I can empathize with you regarding your health issues. I have been a nurse for 36 years and always felt the Lord chose me…me of all people…to help others with providing for their health care needs. About 6 months ago I started having symptoms like you have and because of the pain I became debilitated to the point were I am unable to work or help others as I have done for years. What is really a downer is that I have to take narcotics to get out of bed some days. I have been to doctor after doctor and was finally diagnosed. I won’t be able to work as a nurse any longer because of memory and pain issues but I have been helping a friend at her craft store and I do a lot of teaching of both crafty and medical concerns. I figure the Lord decided I needed a change and provided for me. email me if you need to vent. okienurse.blogspot.com

My first and most important 2011 goal is to USE THE STAMPS I HAVE….most have never seen ink! Been stamping for almost 5 years and just seem to keep acquiring more stamps! Enough is enough (unless of course I can’t live without it!)!!!!!!
    Jan Castle

  125. Cheryl says:

My New Year’s resolution is to continue making Christmas cards for next year. I have been a scrapbooker for almost ten years and around six months ago I saw an adorable card on someone’s blog and the rest is history! I didn’t realize the needed time involved, and I started too late to make all my cards this year, but I will for next Christmas! Have a wonderful, happy New Year!

  126. Cindy Lou says:

Hey Jerri, Very nice Candy! One of my goals this year to is like most to organize and weed out that which isn’t used on a fairly regular basis. If I could figure out how to do a blog, I would have lots of blog candy, I have a bad habit of thinking I need too much. Thanks for the opportunity to win some of my favorite stamps and some other great trinkets! It’s all over the top like your creations!

  127. Margie says:

My first resolution is to take time out of my busy day to spend more time reading and digging into the word of God. I tend to “take” the time for other things when I should take the time to read my Bible.

    M. Fulcher

  128. Linda says:

  129. Deb says:

  130. Naty says:

Hermoso Candy!!

  131. Darlene Groseclose says:

Resolutions are easy for me. I just retired and have a long list of all those activites I have been dreaming about. The first one is to try a challenge and here I am, trying your challeng. Thank you for this opportunity, the blog candy looks terrific.

  132. Cathy says:

Hi, Jeri! This is my first visit yo your blog in AGES. I’ve been browsing back through old projects of yours and drooling for the past hour! I love all of your fall and winter projects and the parchment cards especially are to die for! Cathy

  133. CHICK ALIZADEH says:

I aim to live 2011 to serve all in whatever way I can, and to live with JOY …showing it in all I scrap.. and hopefully instilling it in whomever I connect with.. I pray for 2011 to be a year of pure blissful JOY.

  134. Cher says:

…to remember that even a couple minutes of my time may be a blessing to someone. May you be blessed today.

  135. Lynne says:

I am a pergamano fan. Began doing the craft many years ago while living in Hawaii. I love the things you made. You are so talented. One of my new years resolutions is to take the time to scrapbook more. My children and grandchildren love to look at their books.

  136. Maria says:

Jerri, this is a great giveaway! One of my “goals” for this coming year is to work harder at walking in Christ’s footsteps. I know I need to consistently work at being a Christian so I aim to be more like Christ everyday! Thanks for sharing!

  137. Flirtini83 says:

Thanks for wonderful blog candy. your blog is candy enough for me. eye candy.
love your work. such detail. for 2011 i decided on a “word” to focus on instead of a resolution. a word that will inspire me in all areas of my life …. that word is ABLE. I want to be able to enjoy what I have, able to overcome things that are difficult, able to make new friends and able to let go of bad habits, etc.
I think I am able to try.

  138. Carol B. says:

I just joined your blog, and I am so impressed with your work! (and your work space! I am drooling, so green with envy.) Which reminds me of my New Year’s Resolution: to enjoy a Dr. Oz “green” drink 3-4 times a week. It’s not as awful as it sounds – I add frozen berries, yogurt, orange juice and it resembles a smoothie, but a whole lot “greener” because it also contains spinach, cucumber, fresh ginger…Really packs in the fiber and antioxidents!
Very excited about the blog candy! You rock!

  139. Pat S says:

What an amazing blog candy offering!. OOOH, I am excited. My first resolution is always to eat more healthy.

Okay I will start of easy,(tehe) like so many others, get organized!
And as we speak my husband is putting together a new craft table for me, kind of like a drafting table put with drawers and a footrest!! 🙂 It is my Christmas present! It arrived today!
A total surprise, and then he went and purchased a otto light for me as well! He is so thoughtful! 🙂

  145. Donna G says:

    Hey Jerri,
Thanks for a chance to win some awsome asortment of “candy”! I usually make a resolution, then forget about it…..this year #1 would like to volunteer more, not sure yet in which area, but need to help others while I am still able to do it….thanks for always sharing your beautiful talent.

  150. Marilyn says:

As I enter again to win your awesome blog candy, I’m thinking of my next resolution, I ate pizza while watching a football championship game, so now I’m thinking this resolution should be to eat better. . . .starting tomorrow!!!
    Enjoy your weekend.

  151. Susie says:

Oh my goodness, that’s a lot of candy! I’m so glad you gave us the opportunity to share 7 resolutions because my list is as long as a child’s letter to Santa *laughing* So, here’s #1: Lose weight – I need to drop about 20 pounds so that I can have a much needed surgery. So if any of you are praying gals, please pray that I will have the discipline to get this done.

  152. Marion Rivas says:

#2 – My second resolution would be to exercise since I don’t. I would like to try and eat healthier too so I can get my health under control.

  156. DAY 2
My second resolution is to get in better health. I haven’t been able to work for about 3 months now due to health issues. I have started eating better, trying to sleep regular hours, moving more. The doctor says it will help but not cure my problems.

  157. Hilda Shaw says:

I’d like to have more patience with people.
Thanks for a chance to win candy

  158. Another goal for 2011 is to be a little more active. Old age is sneaking up on me and I use that as an excuse not to move!

  164. Kathi says:

  166. Becky Brooks says:

I’m retiring in three days and my goal is to simplify my surroundings. I plan to donate or trash those things that I don’t use or that are of no use to anybody. The idea is that having less “stuff” will allow me to focus on the quality of what I have instead of the quantity and free up space that is now so cluttered that it is an overwhelming proposition to sit down and create.

  167. Ohhhh some nice goodies there 🙂
I don’t know if mine is really a resolution or not but I decided I was going to start a blog and actually keep on posting, so far so good 😉

    God Bless Us All

  172. emily says:

Good Morning! Well, My biggest New Year’s resolution is ‘Don’t sweat the small stuff’! Pretty simple! When you have something going on in your life that shows you what’s really important, the small details really don’t seem to have the same significance.

  179. Cyndee Scholet says:

Find meaningful (and hopefully well paying) employment. I have been a SAHM for many years and now I am an empty nester. My son joined the Air Force in May and will likely be heading to Japan for 2-3 years after he finishes tech school later this year. My daughter is a senior at UF (University of Florida in Gainesville) and will likely be heading to Brazil (for who knows how long?). She was awarded a fellowship to study there this summer and she has a boyfriend that she met while she was there. She is telling us that it is quite serious. YIKES! So, who knows what will appen during the year?!?l

  180. jean wilson says:

#3 To be more grateful…and God just blessed me with seeing a male & female cardinal in the bush outside my laundry room…it is snowing here and I took a few videos of them…there is just something about seeing a red cardinal in the snow that leaps in my spirit! I was patient and got some video of the female when she moved to the end of the branches…she stayed hidden in the center most of the time. Thanks again for the chance to win some great items.

  187. Carole Richardson says:

I love the treats in your candy blog…I am sure someone will be thrilled on January 14th. I have many New Year’s resolutions but one stands out as being more important than all the others. On this resolution, joy, peace and contentment in life hinge. I want to make it a priority to spend more time knowing God. So many things of the “urgent” nature often seem to crowd out this time with God. Most of my other resolutions exist because of this first one.

Happy New Year, Jeri! I hope it is a year of rich blessings for you and your family.

Resolution #2: Walked a mile today and want to do that 3 times a week.

Thanks for making me step outside the box and think about resolutions, I normally don’t make them so I don’t disappoint myself.

Resolution #3 – the tried and true, I really need to lose some weight! This isn’t one of those I’m going to try to lose 10 lbs. deals. I really need to get control and find a lifestyle I can live with. I’ve been wrestling with the diet demons for so long, as I know so many others do. But, it has become an anchor weighing me down spiritually. It’s time to find a way to free myself. Again, thanks for the oppurtunity to win such a generous blog candy!!! I always enjoy your work so much.

  208. Sandra ltb says:

to learn how to scrap/card make digitally.
    Thanks for the fun.

  218. Kathi says:

    Resolution #3.
Try to use the supplies I have on hand to complete projects. I have purchased so many supplies for certain projects and have forgotten which projects they were for. I will use what I have and buy less.

  223. Connie Smith says:

What a pretty blog and a hummer amt of blog candy!! How can you do this?? My NY’s resolutions..I have several.
    1. Re-organize and clean out my stamp room so everyone else besides ME can find things. Bought a copy of Clothpaperscissors STUDIOS to give me inspiration and ideas.
    2. Clean out all the old magazines and donate them. Found out the Dr’s offices are crying for mags to take to patients in the hospitals
    3. Sort out, sell, package up, or donate all retired products. So I can have more room to get a treadmill in my stamp studio (it’s a very long narrow room, that would be ideal at one end for a treadmill, since I can’t walk outside).
    4. Try to get more walking in to build up my quads and take some strain off my “repaired” ligaments from knee surgeries.
    5. Clean out the basement and garage!!
    6. Get a new vehicle. Mine met it’s retirement. I would like to be able to go see my grandchildren
    7. Re-do the look of my blog; create a new banner, re-arrange some things
    8. Post more stories along with my cards and projects.
    9. Take more pictures of the area before I leave here.
I guess that’s enough for now..I’m sure my list will grow as I get some accomplished.

  224. Connie Smith says:

I really don’t know how you get all done you do!! And always such beautiful projects..HOW DO YOU DO IT!!! My goals for this new year are…. or Resolutions…. but I like GOALS better..

To Share God’s Way with my children
    To have better time management

I praise God that each of my children walk with our Lord and love Him! So I need to spend time in reading and reflection. Have a blest Sunday Jerri!

They kept saying “Put the camera away!” Now I’m so glad I didn’t. I told them, I’m going to take the pix whether you like it or not, so you might as well enjoy yourself. 344. Day 6 I think one of the things I need to work on is my art! I always feel like what I do isn’t up to par with what everyone else is doing so I get depressed and quit working on it. I think I am going to try to get out of that mode and be happy with what I do. My last resolution…is to work on having more FUN! Sometimes the everyday monotony sets in and pretty soon you’re in a rut! Well I want out of that rut. I want to have some fun. Fun with my kids, fun with my husband, fun with my friends…whatever, just fun!!!!! God bless and thank you Jerri for this oppurtunity!

  352. Robbie says:

I would like to do at least one scrapbook this year. I’m a card maker at heart so scrapping is not as easy to do as smaller things, like cards.

I would also like to be a better “ME”. If I like my finished project I want to be satisfied with that and not by the approval of others. My style is not anyone else’s as well as “how” I want my card to be. It may take hours or minutes, but that’s okay, and I want to be satisfied with that. I want to be pleased with whatever I attempt.

  353. Hilda Shaw says:

Thanks for the lovely gift candy
One of my resaolutions would be to do more volunteer work

  354. Diane says:

Thanks for the blog candyJerri, you are too generous. My New Year’s resolution is easy, it’s the same one every year. To be a better person, that’s it, it covers everything for me. ~Diane

  355. Judy Jackson says:

I want to leave my stamp room clean and stuff put away when i have to leave my room.

  356. What generous blog candy! So sweet of you.

I don’t generally make resolutions, but I do want to scrapbook more often. Another one is to lose some weight I have added in the past 1 1/2 year.

One general life goal is to – Live Well, Laugh Often, and Love Much!

Thanks for the chance to win!

  357. Pam Bartnett says:

Another Resolution- I am going to get healthy and stay healthy…and be more creative!

  358. Robin says:

My resolution is to set aside more time to craft.

  359. Elfrieda Everett says:

Keep doing what I’m doing, paper crafting to give away.

  360. Judy Covey says:

Thank you Jerri for offering up some fabulous blog candy. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to be less wasteful when it comes to food. With just the two of us home now I still haven’t figured out how to cook for two and it seems that we get tired of eating so much of the same food/meals and quite often I end up throwing a portion of what I cooked away, or out to the backyard wild animals.

  361. Susan says:

    Hello Jerri,

I think one of my new years resolutions would be to try and do a little more for those less fortunate than myself,

The Brisbane floods have left thousands homeless and several dead so I guess part of my resolution for this year will be to try and help as many of these victims that I can if only through donations,

All the very best to you and your family and keep safe.

  362. Bev J. says:

Another goal I have for this year is to finish scrapbooks and cookbooks I have started.

Thanks for the chances to win.

  363. Sheri says:

I would like to be more understanding and tolerant of those having problems. I tend to try to help or have every intention and then don’t follow through because I get busy with other things. I need to slow down and help those who come across my path and need help.

  364. Pam P says:

My last resolution is to take more time for myself, everyone needs to have some alone time and do just what they want and I plan trying to do that once a week.

  365. Debbie says:

Make some progress on my family heritage scrapbook.

  366. Barbara T says:

    Declutter, declutter , declutter

  367. Marilyn says:

At my Deacon meeting one of the Deacons said she doesn’t do resolutions, but in the sermon heard about going down the road, so she is doing ‘roads’ instead, I love the idea. . . .so my next road (resolution to some) will be to only hang with the positive people where I work and to be ONLY positive at work!!!
Then I will find another turn off on my road for the year.
Thank you Jerri for the chance to share some really good thoughts with so many, and for so many other to share their good thoughts.
    Enjoy your day!!!!

  368. Joan Ervin says:

This is such a great idea, Jerri…my resolution this year is to stay connected with my friends. I tend to get so wrapped up in my daily life that I put off making phone calls or emails to my friends. I hope your New Year is super special, gf!!!!

  369. jean wilson says:

Good morning Jerri! I want to thank you for posting this blog candy and getting me to think about some goals and write them down…my last one would be to spend time with my husband and laugh together! We need more laughter in our lives! It is good internal jogging as someone has said!
Well thanks again for the chance to win such awesome goodies!
    Have a great day!

  370. Clarinda says:

My resolution would be to read and study my bible more then scrap more! lol Can’t scrap unless I’ve read for the day…

  371. Selma says:

Jerri I don’t usually make resolutions but one of the things I really want to do this year is spend more time leaving comments on blogs I read. I love the way you always create projects with many elements and would love to accomplish that too.

  372. Wendy Moore says:

Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy. My resolution is the same one I’ve had for the past 5 years to lose the weight I put on after I quit smoking. It’s been a tough battle especially since I’m getting up in years but I need to do it this year. I’m even crafting more so I don’t go near the refrigerator – it helps. Your designs are as beautiful as ever. Thanks for sharing your talents with us!

  373. Lucille says:

    Jan 13/11 @08:06 am
My resolution is to get a blog set up. This will be a BIG challenge as I have no idea how to do this.

  374. farida says:

Another resolution is to make the most of the time with my children. Having lost my job in October, I now am able to pick them up from school instead of send them to aftercare. It has allowed me to see how much time I missed with them when I was working, so, in a way, it was sort of a blessing to be laid off. But, now it teaches me to be careful with how I spend, especially on my stamping. Well, I guess that makes it 2 resolutions 🙂 I had a wonderful time actually thinking about my resolutions because of this blog. Thanks Jerri!!!

  375. Thank you so much for the chance to win some wonderful “candy”! Resolution #1. To live each day to the fullest, without regret.

  376. Rebekka says:

To use up my paper. You know the ones you always hold on to because they are so pretty and you are waiting for just the right card. Three years has gone by and I have not used them yet. So this year I am using up all of my pretty paper. 🙂

  377. Pam Pagel says:

You always have such beautiful designs and ideas. Thank you for sharing your talents. One of my new years resolutions is to celebrate the positive people in my life.

Thanks again for the opportunity to win such a beautiful selection of blog candy!

  378. Clare Curcio says:

I would like to honor my husband more. I have gotten lax in taking care of him the way God wants me to. I am going to love him and the Lord much more!

  379. Beth Norman says:

I’m so behind in my blog reading and miss this. Thanks for the reminder. I have one resolution and that is to blog less and do higher quality projects and cards.

  380. Debbie says:

I just LOVE getting new supplies, I’m like a women with a shoe fetish who doesn’t have a big enough closet!
So my New Years resolution is to buy less…….OH no, that won’t work! OK but I will make something with my present stock BEFORE I buy new and then I will do another project with my newly purchased supplies. Sounds do able!

  381. Janet Castle says:

I’m ticking off my New Year’s To Do List…but, I think the ‘hurrieder I go, the behinder I get’!!! I know, improper grammer…the truth hurts. Sooooooooooooo, I decided I will relax a bit and do what I can as I can so I will enjoy it more!
    Jan Castle

  382. Cyndee Scholet says:

This year I would like to make it a goal to pare down the accumulated STUFF in the house. We have a garage full of items from my mother-in-law’s estate that is waiting for a garage sale and there are a lot of other things that I would like to sell as well (a daybed now that I have converted that into an exercise room), exercise equipment (trying to pare down to what I am really going to use now that I bought a Pilates reformer) and other items from the kids (now that we are empty nesters).

  383. Pat Schwartz says:

What awesome Blog Candy. Thanks for the chance to win. My resolution is to work on my patience with all the stress in my life due to unemployment and to work harder at trying to gain employment. Looking at the bright side more!

  384. Chelsea says:

I hope this is the last day of resolutions. I’m having hard time thinking up ones I can keep! I do like to make resolutions that I think I have a chance of incorporating as a permanent way of life. So today’s resolutions is that I be a blessing in someone’s life. There used to be an old song about that “Make me a blessing oh Saviour I pray, make me a blessing to someone today.” Or something like that. Anyway, what a nicer world we’d have if everyone tried to be a blessing rather than an annoyance!

  385. Awesome candy Jerri! My first resolution is to focus on being a better parent and making sure my girls will reflect on a happy childhood. I’ve subscribed to a number of parenting newsletters and magazines and hope to focus on one or two actions each month, and reflecting on the example I am setting in my actions. It also meant stepping down from a number of DT positions to free up my time, which I believe is the first element of parenting. Making time for my dd’s and having time to deal with the little issues (before they become big issues) at the time, instead of after I finish my latest project.

More than you probably wanted to know…but you asked LOL!

  386. Terre Munk says:

Hi again. The second thing I am serious about accomplishing is de-cluttering both our house and my stamp room. I have let things get WAY out of hand and need to de-clutter before doing any more stamping!

  387. Terre Munk says:

Third thing is to keep in touch with family and friends more often. And, I intend to do more than just jot a quick note off. I want to connect with them and involve them in my life.

  388. Darlene says:

Wow, all these resolutions…..I’m going to be busy this year. lol. For the last one I resolve to spend the time cutting out coupons and reading sale flyers and better planning my shopping trips to save the most money……….so I can then spend it on crafting supplies!!

  389. Sandie Luck says:

    Hello Jerri!
What a delightful collection of goodies! SO GENEROUS!! A nice addition to anyone’s stash, I’m sure!
My heart’s desire is to share my love for others by giving/sending a handmade card as often as possible. This is with hopes to create a design that I can easily change out to suit the occasion.

  390. Terre Munk says:

Gotta get these goals out so that I’m entered into your fab drawing for blog candy! Next is doing a Bible study all year long, not just one 6 week one.

  391. Terre Munk says:

The next goal is doing a better job of keeping in touch with family and friends. I want to send more cards and letters and make more phone calls.

  392. Terre Munk says:

Next on the list is to volunteer more.

  393. Terre Munk says:

My very pressing goal today is to set up my Etsy store. I have been really lax in getting in there and getting it done.

  394. Terre Munk says:

And, last but not least is make more cards for my stash. I have let it go and it is really pathetic. LOL I’d like to be able to just go to the drawer and pull out an already made card for an occassion, not have to sit down and make one.

  395. Goal for the New Year. Organize my craft room! That should take me all year as it is so out of control. Then, have a goal of at least completion of one nice art project per month!

  396. Jessica says:

I resolve to watch more videos and use what I learn from them to create some awesome stuff!

  397. Lucille says:

It appears that my last resolution did not get entered as it is not there.
My resolution is to develop a blog site this year. I haven’t any idea on how to do this but I am determined to learn.

  398. My resolution – daily devotions EVERY morning

  399. Kim Heggins says:

To organize and clean out…donate the items I have not used in the past year or two and then organize what is left. I started last night and can’t wait to see how nice everything will look once I am finished.

  400. Margie says:

Jerri: I subscribe to your blog, and I ALWAYS look forward to seeing what you have to show us. Your cards and etc. are so beautiful. You are so talented. When I go on the different blogs, I see this thing called, “Blog Candy.” I kept asking myself, “What is Blog Candy.” Well, I think I know what it is now. When I saw the “blog candy” that you are offering, I thought “WOW” that is some awesome “blog candy.” So here is my last resolution. I need (want) to organize the recipes that I have gone online and printed. I have them in a notebook, but they are not categorized. It’s search and find everytime I want a certain recipe. One of my goals is to put the recipes into the right category, a few at a time. January is half over, so I need to get started. I think I need to make myself a weekly schedule and work on one resolution each day.

    Margie F.

  401. Donna G says:

    Hi Jerri,
I missed a few entries, but my last resolution is to finish what I start! I have stuff in boxes that didn’t get completed for one reason or another, and i don’t like that. i’d like to go back and finish everything that’s there, and forbid myself to start this bad habit again.
    Happy New Years, Jerri!
    Donna G

  402. suzanne says:

Fantastic candy. My resolutions are all craft related really. 1. To tidy and sort out my craft room and keep it tidy-ish. 2. to use up all the patterned paper that I already have before buying more. 3. to spend more of my time crafting. 4. to post regularly on my blog and spend more time visiting my friends in blogland and leaving more comments.
I have recently found your blog and signed up for email updates so as not to miss any of your fantastic creations.
    Hugs Sue x

  403. Teri says:

Resolution #6 – To take a nap whenever I can for health reasons.

  404. Jerri,
this has been so much fun, thank you for this little challenge!

My last one would be probably a silly one, but one that is important, especially in my Husbands eyes.
That would be to go to bed at a decent time, and not at 2 or 3 am!!
I have been better about it this last week, so it is a start! 😉

  405. Sandra ltb says:

wow – I have to laugh about Mary’s last resolution …. my husband would want the same thing!
But I need my play time, so I did not make that resolution!
But I did make one to be more patient.
    Best regards,
    Sandra ltb

  406. Melanie says:

    Last Resolution

To enjoy my crafting time and not rush it. My husband gets Football Sundays from 9:00 AM until Sports Final has finished at 11:30 PM. I will do more crafting time and not stress about the 4 children, laundry etc…….my crafts are just as important.

Bless you all and I have learnt a lot reading everyone’s posts this week.

Thank you for allowing me to share

  407. Maria says:

Another “goal” I have is to make things more positive. I want to be a half full kind of girl instead of half empty! I used to have Mary’s problem of not getting to bed at a decent hour but that has changed since I have to be at work now before 7 am!

  408. Sandy says:

Thanks once again for generously sharing your creations!

  416. Another resolutions for me is to be a GOOD listener. Not only to my family but also to my friends. It is amazing how much one can learn from just listening. And sometimes that is all one needs.. is someone to hear them.

  430. Pat Marsh says:

Your creations are awe-inspiring! One of my New Year’s resolution is to make as many cards as I can on the weekend. I am a first-time grandmother to a baby boy (Declan, born September 14, 2010). I am trying to give my daughter-in-law some free time, so I have been caring for the baby one day out of each weekend and it has taken up most of my time. It’s been so long since I have cared for a baby that I think I have forgotten how time-consuming it is, but it’s a labor of love! Thanks for the opportunity!!

  431. Cindy says:

What an amazing blog candy give away..
First off I always admire your talent!
My new years resolution is to get healthy!
    Be a good friend.
