Graphic 45 – Musical Fairy Blog Candy

You all have been so generous in your sweet comments on the series of fairy cards. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, I’m thrilled you’ve enjoyed seeing the designs!

In appreciation, I have something sweet for you! Look at the scrumptious goodies above. I have fifteen yards of gorgeous May Arts 1.5″ silk ribbon in colors that coordinate with Graphic 45’s Once Upon A Springtime designer papers (available at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store), as well as five packs of coordinating Prima flowers and three packs of coordinating Kaiser Craft Pearls available in my store, A Touch of Grace – Paper Boutique. And lastly, I’m also including the Musical Fairy card that I’m posting today with the blog candy. How fun is that! One lucky winner will receive all these goodies, as well as the card.

Rules: The rules are fairly simple, all you have to do is leave a comment telling me what you’ll do with the “goods” if you win. You can leave one comment every day until Sunday, March 6, at 3:00 p.m. (EST), at which time I will close the candy. I will announce the winner Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. (EST).

Requirements: To be eligible you have to be a subscriber to my blog (hint: if you’re not a subscriber, you can subscribe here, or, look over to the left and click on the “Subscribe Here” button on my side bar).

And that’s it girls, you do not have to copy and paste a badge and place it on the side bar of your blog. However, if you’d like a “Friend of  A Touch of Grace”, I’d be thrilled and honored if you want to place it on your blog’s side bar.  The winner will be selected by using

ETA: For all my international friends, I do mail international, you are eligible to win this candy .   .   . it’s open for anywhere the postman will deliver.

If you haven’t purchased the Once Upon a Springtime papers yet, head over to the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store before they’re gone, the papers are so incredibly sweet, as is the Once Upon a Springtime kit! I’m predicting these papers are going to sell out quick!

To give you an idea of what other papers are available in the pack, I designed a card a few weeks ago using some of the floral papers in this collection, it can be viewed here: Love is in the Air. If you missed the blue fairy card, it can be viewed here, the pink fairy card can be viewed here, and the gold fairy card can be viewed here.

The flowers were first stamped with JustRite’s Friendship Blooms cling stamps, then cut with Spellbinders new Blossom 3 dies. The petals were embossed and Fairy Dust glitter was applied to the tips with a Quickie Glue Pen. I sprinkled the branch sprigs from Spellbinders Foliage dies with an olive green glitter that I purchased from Art Glitter. May Arts 1/2″ wrinkle ribbon was dyed and aged with Distress Inks, then tied into a double looped bow using the Bow Easy. A bit of baby’s breath was tucked into the arrangement.

I stamped a sentiment on the inside of the card using JustRite’s Friendship Blooms set. Don’t you just love that cute little die from Spellbinders™ Labels Four set.

    Hi Jerry

This is a super blog candy. Thanks for giving us a chance to win it. I follow you on my Google Reader for a while now. I don’t often leave comments but I really like the cards you make. Have a nice week!

    Sorry I mean Jerri

  3. Carole RB says:

Please forgive me for a third post.
I forgot: If I win I’ll make cards with that lovely stuff. I make cards, this is what I love to do.
    Have a nice evening!

I added your badge onto my sidebar. Your blog with all your beautiful projects are one of my favourite places to check out and admire. I love seeing what new and artistic items you have come up with.

Your blog candy is sooo pretty, but then I would expect nothing else! Such pretty embellishments and trims like that are best when shared with other paper crafters close to your heart. I often have my nieces, granddaughters and good friends over to create and inspire each other. I open my shelves and cupboards to all of them so they can learn how to make their own creations to share with others and spread cheer. There is nothing better than helping someone come up with a creative solution or have them help you over a stumbling block. My room isn’t fancy but it’s filled with a lot of laughter and love when we get together. The memories made crafting together are tied up in each and every page, card or project. I love it!

Thank you for sharing, not only your scrappy supplies but your beautiful art work! 🙂

  5. Lana Edwards says:

Your art work is always beyond stunning!!!!! I would love to have these items to make some canvas wall art, they are just too lovely not to put on a wall to share with everyone!!

  8. Carolyn S says:

It can’t get much better — the opportunity to hold one of your cards AND receive goodies to create a similar one. If I win your blog candy, I will share it with my stamping friends to continue on what you have so generously offered.

    Thank you, Jerri.

  9. Barbara R. says:

Hi Jerri, I just started following you in Feb. That purse just wowed me. This fairy card is so awesome. But as I looked back on some of your other blog post, all your work is so beautiful. What would I do with this blog candy if I won?? I would hope to follow some of your tutorials to try to make a card like yours. Having the right tools and embellishments really make the card a “WOW” card. Thanks for the chance to win. Thank you for sharing.

I love flowers so this would be fantastic and I generally put them on everything I make. Just recently started using ribbon but use pearls all the time. I have a favorite embossing folder and Spellbinder dies where pearls are a must. Your card and flowers are fantastic. Thanks for the tutorial and also the opportunity to win the “candy”.

  16. Chris R. from Iowa says:

Well, I have been a subscriber for quite awhile – year maybe? What I would do if I won your fabulous prize? Well, share the card with my fellow stampers for one thing. Then, place it on top of my armoire that holds the TV so I could see this gorgeous creation all the time. My intention would be to make cards – nothing even remotely similar – I couldn’t handle that! But, I am sure for awile I would place the goodies in my stash (viewed prominently, of course) and admire the beauty and quality as I drool a little bit over the pretty colors and such. Hey, my basset hound drools and I tend to copy! Much easier to copy than some of your stunning creations! I am still swooning over your Thanksgiving works! Thanks Jerri for sharing your talent with us! Now, I gotta look at some of your tutorials!

  17. Julia says:

I would make as many cards as I could. Your work has always been an inspiration and I’m a huge fan!

  18. Gretchen Wilson says:

Yes, I’m a subscriber and just started my own blog last week. But oh how I love your work, I just hope that some day I can be as good as you. I have saved pictures of your work for years now, the beautiful things that you can bring to life. Thanks so much for sharing all your talent with us. And yes, I like candy – any kind will do.

  19. EEK! Thank you so much for the fabulous chance! It’s because of your blog that I can’t wait to get my hands on those papers! One thing I would do is get the Once Upon A Springtime papers and make a layout. I have been waiting for something awesome to come out for photos that I have of my daughter in a fairy costume, this is the awesome-ness that I have been waiting for! And a chance to get your fabulous card, that is a prize in itself! I would take any of your fabulous cards without all the other goodies! Thanks again for the chance!! 😀

  20. Rita Ansley says:

I Just love getting your emails that show us a new project you are sharing. I just love all of your work. The fairy group of cards have been very pretty. Can’t wait to see what is next. I will use the Candy to make greetings cards for a group of Senior Ladies that are friends with my 96 year old mother. I hope I win!!!

  21. Pat says:

    Dear Jerri,

First after I pick myself off the floor — I would jump up and down and be ever so grateful that I won the goodies. Next I would call my girl friend and tell her all about it , and then I would say to myself —“can you make a card or somethings as beautiful as Jerri — I have save all the fairy cards you have done for inspiration —- I have my fingers crossed — YOUR WORK is simply AWESOME, beautiful, GIRLY, AND I hop when I grown up in Stamp land I can be 1/10 as talented at you —- You ROCK!!!

Jerri, your work is so beautiful and elegant. My daughter will be celebrating her birthday next month. What could be better than creating a mini for her sweet 16th with this beautiful blog candy. Thanks for the opportunity!

  26. Dianal says:

I follow your blog and am truly amazed at the beautiful work you create … everything is so elegant … its hard to believe the flowers are from paper. Your colour choices are also so tasteful and your ideas so inspiring.

You asked what I would do with the goodies … well, I would create a mini album to give to a family member who has had a medical set back in life. In this album, I would put pictures and memorabilia to share the good times and leave blank pages for the good times I know she will still be able to enjoy.

Thank you for the opportunity to win!

  27. Jan says:

Right now I have my best friend on Hospice, wth a very short time left, my mother-in-law had a stroke 2 weeks ago, and I myself am having some huge health issues. None of it leaves much time for card-making, nor shopping for supplies. Your cards simply take my breath away , and I would love one to give to one of them. No matter what happens with the give-away, thank you for your inspiration……your soul shines through your work !

  28. Ann Marie G says:

Thank you for the great candy!! Beautiful and inspirational work.

  32. Sue K (Australia) says:

    Hi Jerri,
As usual – a gorgeous series of unique cards – they are soooo – how can i put it – so “shop” looking and i dont mean that as an insult – i just mean that they are so professional looking and so “perfect” yes perfect Jerri – its hard to believe they are handmade.
I have said it before and i say it again – whenever i check my email – im always looking for “A Touch of Grace”.
A beautiful and generous candy you are sharing with some lucky person too – so talented and so generous too. I know im probably not eligible over here, but i can dream cant i???? (you have such gorgeous stuff over there) i would definitely use all of those gorgeous products to make cards, maybe a mini scrapbook – and probably end up giving them all away as gifts (or to the Church for fundraising) which is what normally happens to all i make.)
Thanks again for sharing your talents.

  33. Monika/buzsy says:

Indeed it’s a beautiful card Jerri. I love your hand made flowers and the fairy images you use. I love making cards so I would use these yummy embellishments on my stamped greeting cards. :o) Thanks for the chance to win.

  34. Barbara T says:

The card included with your blog candy is so playful and brings a smile to my face. Dont you just love Graphic 45? Thank you for sharing how you finish your cards on the inside. I have always admired your work , have been a subscriber for ages and will continue to be.

  35. Jan D. says:

    What pretty items…

    1. I would use some of the goodies to make cards for some of my elderly Aunts and Uncles who, in some cases, are alone now. Receiving cards in the mail is a big deal to them and it makes me feel good.

    2. I’ve just signed up to make cards again for Operation Write Home (our troops) and some of the items would help me complete more cards.

thanks for the opportunity to win.

  36. Elfrieda Everett says:

I have never used fairies on my cards, but you have inspired me to try. If I win, this is what I will do.

  37. Edna Siu says:

Jerri, it is the sweetest candy I have ever seen. It is the card, most important, it will be priceless, I will place it on my counter top to show”off” how beautiful the card, the paper, the creation, most of all I will tell everybody about your blog, let everyone see a whole lot more your creation. All my friends know very well I am a cardiholic person. Some parents learning from me, or those receiving cards from me love to see beautiful things, although they might not in this area. The stunning prima flowers will be my treasure, I don’t think I will ever use them, too beautiful to let it go,LOL. Thanks for the chance. I have been your subscriber for a long long time.

  38. Cherie says:

As always, your projects are beautiful and very inspiring! Thanks for sharing your wonderful creations with the rest of us!

  39. Pam Pemsler says:

Dear Jerri, Your creations make my heart race!! I am so glad I found you on the web. If I won the goodies, I would adorn the desk in my craft room with your card, it is absolutely breathtaking! I would then take all the Prima flowers, Kaisercraft jewels, May Arts Ribbons, and spread them all across my carpet, to get a sense of the textures and colors. I would get down on the floor (no easy feat) and I would close my eyes and conjure up a beautiful scene with all the goodies in front of me. Then, I would start to play. Maybe something with a fence (I love fences with flowers trailing along it) or a birdcage (I love birdcages stuffed with flowers) or possibly a Victorian garden. I would put my sweet 21 year old daughter in the middle of the layout and then complete it in my imagination. Thanks for your oh so creative inspiration!!

  40. Dottie Davis says:

Gosh, a chance to win your generous gift is wonderful. Thank you for the opportunity! I have watched card after card presented thinking each one was the best…or my favorite. Then I see this one today and think this one is my favorite. I guess the one thing that stands out above everything is that we all are looking at the work of a very talented lady with a good eye for color, layout, use of photography and commitment for presenting her best each and every time. What a combination! It is a pleasure to give praise to whom praise is due.

  41. Deanna Olack says:

I am new subcriber and your work is just amazing. The goodies would be used to create cards and gifts for friends that have fallen on difficult time. Thank you for your inspiration and dedication.

  42. Cindy says:

  43. Karla says:

You have and do the most beautiful things. You are a creative genius and a every generous person! This collection reminds me of spring and my mom. She loved flowers. She has been gone now for a couple years and I would make a mini album of her and her flowers over the years. She was the most loving women I knew. Of course I would say that, she was my mom. lol

    Thank you,

  44. Ginny K. says:

Hi Jerri, I would be thrilled to win your Blog Candy! This card is the best yet!!! Jan Castle

  46. sara cross says:

Oh my goodness…your site is beautiful indeed…I reach for my computer well before my coffee just to see if you have posted something new 🙂 I too love making cards…this is what I do most every day. I’m a empty-nester so I have my own “craftroom” now and I know exactly what I would do with this eye-candy! Thank you for the chance.

  47. Jeanne Dunn says:

Wow! What beautiful candy. If I win I want to make a calendar mini. I already have the paper, just need the gorgeous embellishments to make it. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
    ArtsyChik Jeanne

  48. Dottie Davis says:

I failed to mention, as stated in the rules, what I would do with the supplies I won. In my family I have several nieces that are living very difficult lives. Every once in a while, to encourage them and let them know they are cared for, my hubby and I have a breakfast for all 8 placing on their plates a little something special. With these supplies I would make a beautiful little card for each with a note inside encouraging hope for the future if they don’t give up. I think I would also order the fairy stationary for my base ideas and make them reallllly feminine and pretty! Flowers, glitter and bows always are encouraging to a woman.

  49. Michaela says:

Oh, wowzies! Yummy candy – especially those ribbons. Well, if I win I would love to make some cards. I also stared making Project Life this year, so I might use few bits on that.
    Thank you!

  50. Donna Mc says:

I’d make cards, cards, and more cards! Thanks for the generous candy!

  51. Susan says:

Your work is beautiful, and I always look forward to visiting your blog. If I were to win the blog candy, I would create a mini album for my only daughter with the photos she had taken for a professional photo shoot. It would mean so much to both of us.

  52. Dottie Davis says:

I hope this isn’t a duplicate as the comment I sent didn’t show up so I will write it again.
First of all thank you for your lovely generosity in sending this beautiful package. Every once in a while my hubby and I have a breakfast for our nieces. Most of them are going through difficult times and leading difficult lives. We try to encourage them by loving them in this way. So, on each plate we put a little special gift with a personal note inside telling them they have a future and a hope. So, if I were to be so fortunate as to win I would make 8 little cards, embellishing them with all the bows and flowers and glitter that so touch a woman’s heart. Thank you Jerri, for all your wonderful ideas for these little fairy cards. (I would also order some of this paper!)

  53. Rema says:

Beautiful work! I’ve been a follower for a while now. Thank you for a chance to win all the goodies…..

  54. Wow, awesome blog candy! If I win, I am so going to try to Kopykat one of your cards! lol. I love, love, love them! I am a subscriber

  55. Susan says:

Jerri, your beautiful creations are blog candy in itself

Thanks for the chance to win these super prizes and should I be lucky enough to hit the jackpot I will be making cards with a big grin on my face…with you in my thoughts of course,

Thanks again Jerri for all the shares

  56. Yummy candy- you are SO generous!
I’d use these lovelies (3 of my favorites, btw, pearls, flowers, and ribbon!) to make cards and gift boxes- nothing as stunning as your creations, but I’d give it my best. : )
    Thanks for the chance!

  57. Thelma says:

Jerri, just having a card you made would be so special for me. I love your work and some day I hope to meet you.

  58. Anne says:

Hi Jerri, You save the best for last, right? I am in love with your fairies!!
If I ever win, I will do lots of cards with them. I will send you one of my finished cards to let you see how beautiful your cards really are compared with mine!! 🙂 But I will frame your own card up and look at it everyday for inspirations….hope the fairies inside and outside will help me!! LOL!!! Thanks for being so generous!!

  59. Jocelan Perry says:

Jerri your blog and your talent is amazing,I so enjoy getting my email updates from you.If by chance I would happen to win the blog candy I would love to makes some cards.
    Thanks fro the chance

  60. Sheri says:

Oh WOW! I would make cards with the goodies and probably share with my card making friend here in town. But the best would be the card! I would frame and hang it. I have a bedroom that it would be PERFECT in. Thanks for letting me dream. I am off to take something off the wall to make room for your card 🙂

  61. Cindy Lou says:

Hey Jeri! I have loved looking at your beautiful cards and other creations over the past couple of years. It has been so fun and so very inspiring. What would I do with the blog candy? Try to make lovely card creations like yours 😉 I love to create and share the creations with the sick and elderly of our church, just something beautiful to brighten up their day. Thanks for the opportunity to win something extra Jeri, but as you know, I think we are all winners just to have you sharing with us and inspiring us to do the best we can do. Blessings my dear online inspiration!

  62. Teresa says:

For sure I’ll make a few cards with a little magic in them for those that could use it. I’ve LOVED fairies for years. In fact I tell my grand kids that Fairies live in my Wisteria bush.
That is why I chose wisteria in my blog name. (which I don’t post much at all) Beside I love any shade of purple. Thanks for the chance to win these lovely goodies. I would be honored to create with your “candy”.

  63. Cathy says:

I might try and case a few of your cards if I win or I might just make cards of my own. Yours are truly extraordinary–I have a much simpler style. But I love fairies and bling so this is right up my alley.

  64. ann says:

    Hi Jerri,

well you did it again. What a gorgeous card you are giving away. How generous of you, but that is who you are. I am your biggest cheerleader! I would love to make cards with these goodies. I will go on over to Sharon’s store and buy the paper in anticipation of winning!!!!

  65. Doris says:

Your beautiful work is above and beyond! It sure inspires me to go the extra mile when I make cards for my friends and family. I want them to feel special. This ‘candy’ will be put to good use doing just that.

  66. DWD says:

I think your work is just magical!!! I would love to win this blog candy. Most of it is from sites I have wanted to visit and have never gotten to. It’s all just beautiful!!! I subscribe to your blog by email and would love to use these products for my granddaughter’s scrapbook pages.

  67. Carolyn says:

Oh my goodness!!! What a fabulous prize package. If I won I would make cards. If they came out anywhere close to your beautiful cards, Jerri, I would have to display them in my scrapbook studio rather than send them. 🙂

  68. Doris says:

Your beautiful work is above and beyond! It sure inspires me to go the extra mile when I make cards for my friends and family. I want them to feel special. This ‘candy’ will be put to good use doing just that.

  69. Mary Roberson says:

    Hi Jerri,

I’m already a subscriber. I’ve have yet to really embellish or adorn my cards and other 3-D projects. But seeing how you dress up your designs and seeing all the gorgeous blog candy makes me want to give it a go:) The added charms, bling, ribbons, flowers, etc. certainly make the project so much more detailed and interesting to look at.

    Thanks for the opportunity,

  70. WOW another beautiful card! Love the flowers you are making. I did a little playing around with the Graphic 45 Springtime paper but nothing I did looks half as beautiful as this. Thanks for sharing with us Jerri! I have been a subscriber for a long longtime. Love your work!

  71. Nancy says:

First, if I won the blog candy I would place that gorgeous card in a shadow box for all to see-I love it! Next I would use some of the other goodies to make a summer LO to go in my shadow box. I have created autumn and winter but have had a gigantic block for the next two seasons. Of course i would make cards, too!!!. Thanks for all the inspiration, even if I don’t win I have a plan now.

  72. I’d like to do a scrapbook page of myself when I was 5 in a ballet recital. All if the items in the blog candy would be perfect!

  73. Anita Vowell says:

I’ve been folllowing your website for a bit now and have been thrilled that each card you create is a work of art…I love the “art” in papercrafts especially in cards. This last theme with the fairies has been absolutely awesome.

It’s so refreshing to see beautiful, creative cards after so many simple cards. We all start out with simple and as we learn we hope some day to be the creator of “beautiful.” Thank you for sharing your time and talent.

I teach 3 classes and if I were the winner I would share my treasures with my girls. They are so enthusiastic and love the soft and gentle themes. Sharing in life is what life is about and you certainly do your best with your talent.

    Thank you, Anita

  74. Carol Parks says:

Jerri, this fairy card is GORGEOUS! I especially love the soft colors you used. Now,
if I won your awesome blog candy, first of all, you’d have to pick me up off of the
floor, because I’ve never won a blog candy before. LOL Then, after I recovered,
I would run to my art room, and immediately start making a card, with all those
beautiful ribbons and embellishments. Then I would make another one, and another,
and another……………… Beautiful blog candy, Jerri.

  75. Margie says:

Jerri: Wow!!! I love all of the fairy cards that you made from the Once Upon a Springtime DP. When I open my e-mail and see I have something from you, I open your e-mail first. I am so in awe of your talent. You make some of the most beautiful projects that I have ever seen. Whether it be a fan, a lamp shade, door hangings or cards, everything you make is absolutely gorgeous. I would love to win the “blog candy.” I have two friends that share the same birthday, and I bought the Once Upon a Springtime DP to make their birthday cards. I could use “all” the blog candy for my cards. I love the Once Upon a Springtime DP so much I bought the 12 x 12 and the 8 x 8. :>) Thanks for sharing your talent. You are truly an inspiration.

    Margie F.

This woman is a gift from God to both me and my father. She does so much to help my Dad who is battling dementia. I’m sure a Get Well card with these wonderful embellishments would come in handy to help create something special for her.

May God’s grace of art continue to flow from you for others to enjoy. Blessings to you and your family. Continue on, we love your work.

For me, though, the most precious gift of all would be the fairy card. I’ve ooh-ed, aah-ed and loved everything you’ve shared with us for so long it would be pleasure beyond words to actually have one displayed on my mantlepiece.

  116. Susan says:

Your cards are always stunning. You give others a lot of inspiration but try as I might I will never have your talent. We cannot access all the supplies you use here in England so would be able to win some of the goodies. I look forward to your emails showing us your new cards.

So, on each plate we put a little special gift with a personal note inside telling them they have a future and a hope. So, if I were to be so fortunate as to win I would make 8 little cards, embellishing them with all the bows and flowers and glitter that so touch a woman’s heart. I am a subscriber and I adore your creations. If I win the blog candy I will use it in the Mother’s Day cards that my group makes for the local nursing home. We make about 100 for each of the major holidays and they are passed out to the residents.
But we go all out for Mother’s Day and not only make the ladies cards but also put on an afternoon tea for them. Some are in wheelchairs and some can walk on their own but they ALL can smile and the gift of a hand made card is very special to them.

Your style of card would be just awesome to give them. I would send pictures to put on your blog.

No matter who wins………..the supplies will be put to good use I’m sure.

Hi Jerri, thanks for offering such a great assortment of blog candy, it all looks so yummy! If I were to win, I would put it all to good use on the many cards that I make throughout the year. Because I have spent a small fortune on stamping supplies in the past 10+ years that I have been stamping, I just don’t fee right about purchasing cards anymore, plus when they are homemade, they are put together with a LOT of love, which is more meaningful than a store purchased cards. Card-making is my number one hobby and rarely does a day go by tht I’m not in my stamping room creating.

  156. Marilyn says:

Day two to submit my thoughts and a chance to win this wonderful blog candy.
I would use the supplies to make cards for two co-workers who are helping our friend who has cancer with her transportation to and from her treatments, so her husband doesn’t have to use up all his sick/vacation leave. We are splitting the transportation every Friday between the three of us.
There is nothing like having wonderful, caring girlfriends.

From yesterday’s post it sounds like your family and me and hubby will be doing the mountain thing at the same time. We’re planning on going to Yellowstone and maybe hitting the No. California redwoods. My husbands uncle is a retired professor from USC and has been an avid hiker and even written books about Yosemite. He’s even speaking there this month. If it’s half as great as he thinks it is you’ll love it.
Keeping my fingers crossed for the candy 🙂 Hugs!

I just went through all the fairy cards to view your artwork and see the beautiful paper. It was so enjoyable!!! If I were to win this drawing, I would work to expand my design capabilities adding those wonderful embellishments (which is not an easy thing for me to do) and stretching my borders…I’d have fun with them!

Still just “oohing and ahhing” over the beatiful blog candy but really it’s nothing compared to the amazing work you do. What a challenge to try to come up with something on my own as gorgeous as your work!! Been thinking- maybe I’d do a collage on canvas for a friend who just found out she’s having a baby girl

  297. Denise says:

Your work is fabulous! I would use the ‘goodies’ for cardmaking to share with friends. I can’t tell you what an inspiration your work is.

  298. Jan D. says:

One last use for the goodies would be for the cards I make for one of our Senior Citizens/ Rehab facilities. Many of the patients are there long term. Besides “Get Well Soon” themed cards, patients having birthdays while in the hospital there get a card on their birthday. There is always a need for cards there.

  299. Ellen B says:

One last try to win the blog candy you so generously have offered. I would love to make some cards to send to friends and relatives.

    draw my name.
