12 Days of Christmas 012 copy

Hello dear friends! Today I have two cards and two pillow box designs to share that are quite simply “simple”. The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is hosting its annual clean and simple Twelve Days of Clean and Simple Christmas Designs extravaganza featuring all the new Christmas products they have in stock this holiday season. Today I am showcasing clean and simple designs featuring Graphic 45’s Twas The Night Before Christmas holiday collection. I’ll be back in a week to share more “intricate” designs for those who like a bit of a challenge.

My designs showcase Graphic 45’s Twas The Night Before Christmas 8 x 8 and 6 x 6 paper pads, as well as Core’Dinations 12 x 12 Graphic 45 Pastels paper pad. I love white Christmas roses, a package of Petaloo’s Ivory Botanical Collections fit the bill for these designs. Each pack comes with four roses and three large leaves.

The 8 x 8 paper pad has numerous templates on the inside of the front and back covers. I made these adorable pillow boxes using one of the templates. They are very simple and easy to construct. The multi-looped bows were a snap to make using the Bow Easy, I used May Arts 1/4″ silk ribbon.

The designs feature different sheets of paper from the paper pads. I selected the holly leaves paper for the green card and for the red card I went whimsical with the Santa paper.

It took about 15 minutes to cut and complete the two cards, maybe 15 to 20 minutes to cut, assemble, make the bows and adhere the flowers to the pillow boxes.

The Petaloo roses are so beautiful and easy to design with.

Wow. Very clean card. My mom would love this card. She likes more simple cards vs the loaded layers that I love. This first card is striking with the greeen ribbon. Now that the weather is changing I might get more time to play.:)
