Parchment Tulips

Published by at 9:26 pm under Projects in General

Hi friends, I’m back with another parchment card that I recently made.Parchment Tulips

The pattern is a design from Anneke Oostmeijer. I hope you like it as much as I do, it was such fun and so relaxing to create this card. I just love the lace border.

I painted the design with Crayola Pip Squeak Skinnies markers that I purchased from Amazon onto regular parchment paper. To paint the design I scribbled color from the markers onto a white ceramic plate. I used a slightly damp #1 watercolor brush to pick up color and paint on the parchment. The inner card is Shaded Bordeaux parchment paper. Upon completion of the painting, I embossed the flowers and the lace around the border. After finishing the embossing, I cut the lace and the borders with parchment scissors. The inner and outer card are sewn together on the fold line with invisible thread.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I wish you all a wonderful week!
