Camellia Thank You Notecard
Hi friends, I’m back with a beautiful little notecard I’ve recently completed that I want to share with you.
I used a mix of parchment paper and regular card stock with this creation. The camellia flower is a pattern by Dorothy Holness that was published in July of 2008 in Parchment Craft Magazine. There are two other flowers that I’m currently working on to complete a trio of Thank You notecards.
I painted the leaves and stamens onto the parchment paper with Tombow markers. Once completely dry, I embossed the flower and the leaves using Pergamano embossing tools. The border of the parchment paper was perforated with a 4-Needle perforating tool and embossed with a star embossing tool.
I layered the parchment paper onto olive green and brown card stock layers and then attached the panel to cream card stock folded into a small card. The edges of the card stock layers were painted with a Krylon 18Kt. Gold pen. Small gold pearls were adhered to the four corners of the parchment with PergaGlue.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I so appreciate your visits. I’ll be back soon with the other two notecards to the trio.

Beautiful, as always Jerrikay! We are Lucy to have these lovely flowers blooming in the spring. From march thru june or so. They are usually dark pink to a vibrant red. I’ve never seen them in white. This bloom is gorgeous! Thanks for Sharing it. Hugs Jess

Oh Jerri, so elegant! I LOVE camellias (almost as much as I love roses and lilacs) and you captured it perfectly! Love the gray background. It really sets off the white blossom.
